Paeroa Hire (2016) Ltd is locally owned and operated by Stephen and Kim Doran who took over the business on 1st December 2016.
Steve (having lived in Paeroa for almost all his life) and Kim, both know the area and the community well. Steve is a qualified Diesel Mechanic by trade and has years of experience working on all types of machinery with a lengthy stint in Workshop and Fleet Management.
Steve and Kim purchased the business with the view to continuing the excellent “family friendly” service that Paeroa Hire is known for. A family run business where no job is too big or too small, if we can’t do it – or get it – we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
Alongside our “Hire Equipment” business we are also agents for Oleomac, Castelgarden, Victa and we are Briggs and Stratton Dealers – we sell, service and repair lawnmowers (ride on, push and self-propelled) chainsaws, weed eaters etc. If you’re not sure what we do, just ask.

Revs Motorcycling Training Centre offer training and assessments for Learners, Restricted and Full licences. We have learner approved (LAMS) motorcycles available for hire. Owned and operated by Mark Revill-Johnson, Meet Mark Revill-Johnson - Mark is an experienced and patient instructor. He has over 25 years experience in emergency response driving in both the U.K and New Zealand and holds the internationally respected UK Police Class One Advanced Drivers Certificate. Mark has been an Approved Driving Instructor in England and was also on the Driving Standards Agency register of Approved Fleet Driver Trainers. In 2015 he won the AA’s Corporate Trainer of the Year award and has been a key member of the team that set up Motorcycle Training for the AA Driving School in 2016. Mark is a Motorcycle Member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists and is their National Chief Examiner for Car tests. We look forward to seeing you at our centre!

We are a small maintenance and cleaning business based in Paeroa.
Motivated by love and the desire to create a good future for their blended family, Paeroa couple Tracey and Lucas took a leap of faith at the start of the year with an inspiring "all or nothing" attitude. The enterprising duo launched T&L Cleaning & Maintenance Services and haven't looked back since.
With a combined eight children it is fair to say that the pair are pros at multitasking and are not shy of a hard day’s work. Tracey previously co-owned Kiwi Clean, a Waihi based firm, which gave her excellent industry knowledge and the experience to compliment her strong work ethic. Lucas has a varied work background including farming, making him a jack of all trades. Together they form a strong team, offering full home cleaning services, from window and oven cleans to end of tenancy scrub downs. They take care of odd jobs and offer solutions to property maintenance or landscaping issues.
Why cleaning? "Basically it fitted well with our lifestyle and we are good at it. It's a job that not many people want or like to do, but as far as job satisfaction goes - it's hard to beat. To make improvements for people, to be able to come in and complete odd jobs or clean, make a big impact on the lives of our clients. It is very rewarding."

As their reputation precedes them, their client base has grown extensively and they now service the wider Hauraki district and further where practical. Business is booming and it has taken them a little bit by surprise. "We are proud. We decided in January, that this year was going to be dedicated to growth and we are doing it. We are so focused on building something for the kids and leading by example, that we will just do what we have to do".
